This page is dedicated to the greatest race car driver to ever hit the track....Jeff Gordon. Jeff has, as of March 20, 1999 won 44 Winston Cup Races, 3 Championships ('95, '97, and '98), the Winston 2 times ('95 and '97), the 1997 Daytona 500, and the Bud Shootout 2 times ('94 and '97).
Jeff made his first Winston Cup start at Atlanta in 1992. That was Richard Petty's last race. Jeff came to Daytona that next February and won the 125 qualifying race in his second time in a Winston Cup car. I then knew this guy was going to be good.
